When I mark a region, it lights up, which is good.
In 2-window mode, some other area in the other window 
lights up, too, which is weird.

While I am at it....
Occasionally a find that my typein gets highlighted, 
like whereever point goes, it brings highlighting with it.
The weirdest place is inside a buffer-menu.

I do:
  (transient-mark-mode 1)
and I have hilit19 loaded.
