Subject: Using external ls program for dired?
Date: Sat, 25 Jan 1997 14:54:15 -0500

Is it easy to toggle between using the builtin ls support provided
by 'ls-lisp' (which NTEmacs uses by default) and an external 'ls'
program (like Cygnus or MKS)? I'd like to do recursive directory
listings and that isn't possible with ls-lisp. I can always
re-evaluate the definition in files.el, but hopefully there is
a better way!
