(text extracted from the sim68k/doc/main.tex LaTeX file - Eugene ) Laurent Riesterer MC68000 simulator May 1995 This program was originaly designed to learn 680x0 assembly langage. As it was written for a teaching purpose, the microprocessor simulated is the 68000, the simpliest of the 680x0 family. This tools simulate a MC68000 microprocessor. The limitations are : the TRACE exception executed before each instruction if the bit T of the status register is set is not yet implemented. The bit T has no effect at all. The code you can execute must be generated by the GNU Assembler, using the -mc68000 option. There is a tutorial included. Just run the simulator and choose the options Help/Tutorial in the menu to run it. This program is shareware : if you enjoy it, just send me what you think the program worth (even a postcard of your city with a beautiful stamp if possible).
