These are NLS translation files for Lynx, for German.
Translations are nearly complete (as far as the lynx code
has been internationalized) as of 2.8.2rel.1 + a few changes,
but imperfect.

  de-lynx-pot.txt is the main template file, normally called
  lynx.pot.  It is included here for reference because a newer
  version of gettext (0.10.35) was used to generate it than what
  is currently included in the lynx source.  Most folks won't need
  this.

  de.po contains the translation in text form.
  The following abbreviated instructions may work:
   - unpack Lynx source, and ./configure --enable-nls
   - replace de.po in po/ subdirectory with this version
   - compile and install as usual

  de.gmo is the binary GNU Machine Object file, generated from de.po
  with msgfmt.  Normally you should generate your own, but the following
  just might work if your system uses the GNU gettext binary format for
  Native Language Support (esp. Linux) AND lynx was compiled with
  --enable-nls:  Just drop this file into the right directory under the
  right name.  E.g.
       cp de.gmo /usr/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/lynx.mo
  (location may vary).
