nqptp (1.2.9-1) unstable; urgency=medium

The shared memory interface (SMI) through which shairport-sync obtains
timing information from nqptp has changed from version 10 (smi10) to
version 11 (smi11), and nqptp and shairport-sync must use the same SMI
version. This version of nqptp therefore requires shairport-sync 5.6 or
later, and declares Breaks on earlier versions: apt will hold nqptp back
or refuse to upgrade it until a matching shairport-sync is installed at
the same time. nqptp also provides the versioned virtual package
nqptp-smi, which future shairport-sync packages use to require a
  matching interface version.

If you run a shairport-sync that was not installed from a Debian
package, make sure it was built for smi11 before upgrading nqptp. An
smi10 build will refuse to use this nqptp, logging "This version of
Shairport Sync is not compatible with the installed version of NQPTP",
and AirPlay 2 playback will stop working.
