------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tklocate Version 1.05, Feb. 1998 Written by Garret Davis(gdavis@dacmail.net) with a little help from Zoltan Siki He help me with some of my code as I'm so new to tcl/tk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ REQUIREMENTS tcl/tk INFO This program is a simple front end to the "locate" command. INSTALLATION There really is no installation other than you having to edit the script and define where "wish" is, I happen to use the "step" version of wish, hence "wishstep8.0". The only other thing you need to do is to move/copy is to where ever, Ex. (/usr/locla/bin) USEAGE Currently all you need to do is lanuch "Tklocate" and type in what you want to locate. To launch an executable file just double-click on it with the first button on your mouse, if you want to edit a file just highlight it and then double-click the third button on your mouse. TODO I would really like it to do alot more and hopefully it will, I'm so new to tcl/tk and I really don't program at all I would like to see what other people come up with. If you do make changes and re-release it, all I ask it that I get credit for the original version. Other than that, I hope people find it useful.
