Layz - an ezmlm mailing list management tool Version 1.0 For installation instruction see the file INSTALL. Usage: layz Layz will look in your home directory for a directory called . If it exists then this is assumed to be the list directory. If it does not exist then layz will look in the home directory of the qmail alias user for the directory. (You will probably need to be root to manipulate any lists owned by alias.) If the list name is in the format xxx-yyyy, layz will look for the list in the home directory of user xxx (if there is such a place). Layz displays a scrollable list of all the subscribers. The list is sorted alphabetically, first by host name and then by user name - case is not treated as significant. You can restrict the names that are displayed by changing the filter above the list. This is a regular expression that is used to match against the whole of each member's name. To refresh the list when you have changed the filter, either type return at the end of the expression or hit the refresh button. Double clicking on a username will let you edit that name. You can do multiple, non-contigious selections and hitting unsubscribe will remove them all. (Shift-click extends, Control-click lets you do non-contigious) Subscribe lets you add new members. The checkbuttons for archived and public access, let you change the list status with respect to archiving and public access (as you might guess!!) That's it for now. Basically, it works fine for me, YMMV.... Mail me with bugs and suggestions for enhancements at Lindsay.Marshall@newcastle.ac.uk.
