Here is a summary of ideas I have for the program, if you
want to add something, say which points are more urgent
or anything, please e-mail me at

ornalux@redestb.es

- Save some info about the download in progress, so you don't have to
tell Getleft 6 times which are the links you want.

- Add two options to limit downloads, by the time passed, and the
  amount of Mbytes downloaded.

- Maybe 'find' could take care of purging files and restoring
  the 'orig' files.

- Translate 'curl' and 'http' error messages.

- Save configurations options only when exiting the program

- Create a new namespace for widgets like the combobox and
  the choose directory dialog.

- ftp support

- Follow links external to the site

- Put downloads on queue.

- Maybe Java, Javascript,... support

- Delayed downloads.

- The select directory dialog is not very good, specially on
Windows where you can't change drives.

- Resuming a download is somewhat awkward, 'sed' is invoked when
there is no need, and files are processed when all their links have
  been downloaded.

- A dialog box to choose from all the options

Apart from this, lets say, big things, there are small details:

- The error log doesn't work as advertised.

- Trimming string to fit in the downloading window doesn't work well,
they should be trimmed according to their length in pixels, not in
  characters.

Find something, now matter how insignificant, with Getleft you don't
like?, please let me know.

The truth is I often do things as I need them, for example, the other week
I hit a very unstable site, that interrupted the download of almost every
image, so I finally implemented the option to resume downloading a file
when interrupted, the moral of the story is that if you need a new
feature, please, let me know, the worst I can do is ignore you.
