Storm" To: andrewi@harlequin.co.uk, voelker@cs.washington.edu, rms@gnu.ai.mit.edu Subject: Selecting the emacs window moves point Date: Tue, 27 Aug 1996 10:30:50 +0200 (MET DST) In 19.34 on win95, I find the following behaviour a little annoying at times: When I have been using another application and selects the emacs window (frame) with the mouse, the point (and buffer) is moved to the (arbitrary) spot where I clicked on the emacs window (which usually is more or less hidden). Would it be possible for emacs to ignore the mouse click which gives the focus to the emacs window? To implement this in lisp, I was looking for a set of "unfocus-frame-hooks" and "focus-frame-hooks", but didn't find anything appropriate. -- Kim F. Storm, Olicom A/S
